This website is hosted externally (Hetzner). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster’s servers. This may include in particular IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contact details, names, website access data and other data generated via the website. External hosting is carried out for the purpose of performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address bar changes from “http://” to “https://”.

If you send us inquiries via a form, your details, including the contact data you provide, will be stored by us to process the inquiry and follow-up questions and forwarded by email to info@meyer-koldingen.de. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Optional assistance features may be used to make entry easier: address suggestions via OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, company suggestions based on the email domain and – where configured – AI-assisted text reformulation and field recognition (Anthropic). Only the text or address fragments you enter are transmitted to the respective service to generate suggestions. Final transmission of your inquiry only takes place when you submit the form.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in effectively handling your inquiry) and – when assistance features are used – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in user-friendly data capture).

The public LOGIT customer assistant answers general questions and, for company information, draws on released public website content. When AI conversation mode is available, chat messages are transmitted to Anthropic to generate the reply. Otherwise a limited local response mode operates without that transmission. The website itself does not store chat messages permanently. The assistant has no access to internal systems, customer, order or personal data. Please therefore do not enter confidential or personal information.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in user-friendly general initial advice). Specific inquiries are only submitted via the inquiry form.

On the Specialized Transport and Mobile Access Roads pages we show regional activity maps. For this purpose, for transports LOGIT prepares the recipient regions of completed deliveries from an eight-week period, and for access roads project regions from the past twelve months, exclusively as coarse activity areas. A transport area only appears if at least twelve different delivery areas are included; for access roads a minimum group of five projects applies. The display is updated at most daily. Before publication, registration plates and personal, customer, order, project and address data are removed. Individual positions or movement trajectories are not published.

The publicly visible macro-regions are aggregated over time and do not allow direct attribution to individual vehicles or projects. The legal basis for the internal processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in dispatch, project control and an anonymized presentation of our regional operational presence).

If you submit data and optionally a resume via the application form, these will be forwarded to personal@meyer-koldingen.de for processing your application and stored only for as long as required for the application process or as statutory retention periods apply.

If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your inquiry, including the personal data arising from it, will be stored and processed by us to handle your matter.

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits:

• Browser type and browser version
• operating system used
• referrer URL
• host name of the accessing computer
• time of the server request
• IP address

These data are not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Technically necessary cookies store your cookie consent and ensure the basic functionality of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

With your consent (“Accept all”) we additionally set first-party cookies for reach measurement (pseudonymous visitor ID and session). We record page paths, time, referrer without search parameters, device type/browser, a non-reversible IP hash and a truncated IP network. From the full IP address, an approximate location (country, region and city) is derived once per session via the geolocation service ipwho.is. The full IP address is transmitted to the service in encrypted form but is not stored by us in the analytics database. Location information derived from IP addresses is inherently imprecise. Identification by name or email only takes place if you submit a contact or inquiry form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings or by deleting the cookies. Analytics raw data and the associated pseudonymous visitor IDs are regularly deleted once they are older than 180 days.

If you contact us via a form, we store the information you submit (e.g. name, company, email, phone, message and other form fields) to process your inquiry and in our internal website overview. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
